Pilates Day Pittsburgh 2020: We are more alike than different!

Join us for the 4th annual Pilates Day Pittsburgh event. Our event is a gathering of teachers, clients, studio owners and enthusiasts who would like to celebrate this beautiful practice. We welcome anyone who would like to check it out as a new practice.

There are some changes to this year’s event due to the restrictions within the our businesses. Here is the scoop.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pilates Day Pittsburgh will take place as a virtual event. 

What: Pilates Day Pittsburgh is Happening Online Via Zoom!

Where: In the safety of your home, via Zoom. Download the program or app to any device.

When: Sunday May 17, 2020  with three Sessions running at 9, 10 and 11 am. If you can’t make it to the live event, but still want to support the event, you will receive the private link for the workout to access at your convenience!

How: Purchase a ticket via Eventbrite.

Read the full schedule and decide which session is most interesting to you. If you want to do more than one session, you can purchase additional tickets. Prior to the event we will email you to confirm your selection. Watch for this on May 16, 2020. A link will be sent to your email a few hours prior to the class that allows you entry. Tickets are $15 between now and May 1. After May 1, they will be $20.

The event includes workouts from three talented teachers throughout the Greater PIttsburgh area. This is a fundraiser event – all proceeds go to Let’s Move Pittsburgh, alovely way to start a spring Sunday, come out and play on the mat with us.

Schedule is as follows:

9 am – 10 am Contrology-the Original Work- a workout for Pilates enthusiasts with Cecile Elias. No props or variations! Just a mat and the homework prescribed by Joe himself in his writing: Return to Life!

10 am -11 am The Fundamentals- an Introduction to the Wonderful World of Pilates with Joann Spencer. Have you been wanting to give this practice a try? Now is a great opportunity.Joann takes you through the basics that define this Method apart from other exercise systems.

11 am -12 noon The Barely Comfortable Class for Pilates Enthusiasts with Misty Lynne Cauthen is a briskly-paced intermediate to advanced workout for those who are well-versed in the method. The focus is on the creative flow, so be prepared to stretch your mind and test your limits!
